Bit torrent. I have started using it recently, and I have to say that it may be as good, if not better.

Yes. There are a lot. They are called p2p file sharing programs. I would recommend Morpheus if you want the best results. Though unlike Limewire, it has ads. The ads only show when you are using the program, so it is not adware. Search for it to get it. Other similar programs are Kazza, Ares, Blubster, and more.

Well, i wouldn't reccommend BearShare, only because they both offer EXACTLY the same programs. I think they are on the Gnutella Network. just google "free P2P" and you'll get a lot of other programs
