I have been having problems with my comp.The mouse cursor keeps going all over the screen and the start menu keeps popping up.

Replace your mouse.

If you are using a ball mouse then clean the ball and the hole wher the ball is. If you are using an optical mouse then just get a new one (I had the same problem with an optical). If you are using a wireless mouse then you can re-calibrate the wireless connection by holding a button on the base and the bottom of the mouse.

Reboot into safe mode. Then run your anti-virus software to scan your pc. Also, run your anti-spyware software as well.
You reboot into safe mode by pushing F8 repeatedly when the computer is trying to start. Then choose start in "Safe Mode" from the menu that comes up.
Another thing to check is that your mouse ball is clean, if you still use a mouse with a ball in it.
