actually, I have always felt like I was trapped in a fire, throughout my life growing up, but I never understood why I felt like I was trapped in fire, so I told my mom about it and she told me that when I was 2 years old in my playpen.. I had gotten a hold of matches and caught my playpen on fire .. no one was in the room with me she told me, but miraculously my uncle heard me screaming and ran in the room, shhe told me he found me backed in to the corner with fire all around me.. she said it was a miracle.... It's amazing to me that I still remember that all these years......

also when i was 6 i was outside playing with the water hose by myself, i was spraying it in my mouth, and i gotten choked by the water somehow and i couldn't breath, i ran to the screen door and was pounding on it and my mom seen that i was turning blue.. at that moment i felt myself getting really light headed, and my body getting heavy, she ran outside and called out our neighbor, she was a german lady that lived in a church, her and her husband, anyways, she ran out, my mom was saying something to her but i was slipping i could feel myself, i thought at that moment i was gonna die, but the lady, grabbed my arms and pulled them up over my head a few times and the water went down.. i will never forget that incident.. i still remember how i felt.. i was so scared. ..

i do have one more to tell too... i was 15 at the time and me, my sister and a friend was walking home from the mall, and these three guys picked us up, and they promised us they were gonna drop us off, well they didn't.. they rode us for miles , then the guy in the backseat pulled out a gun and said they were gonna rape us, kill us and throw our bodies in a ditch.. i was so scared, i knew we were through, so we pleaded and begged for our life, so the driver pulled over at a isolated area and said we can go, so we all got out the car, and the guy in the backseat with the gun, grabbed me and put the gun to my leg and said he wasn't gonna let me go, that he wanted to take me, so my sister grabbed my arm and started to pull me and my friend was screaming help and i was begging him to let me go.. finally he lost his grip, my sister got a strength from i don't know, but she pulled so hard his hand slipped and he almost dropped the gun, then the driver sped off, so we were in the middle of nowhere stranded, but we had our life... we managed to get back home, but that was an experience we'll never forget.....

Yes in the mountains of California. Me and my relatives were playing in the snow. We were playing near what was once a stream, but was all icy and covered with snow. Well anyways i slide on the ice and it was going down hill so i couldn't stop. I ended up sliding all they way into a big man-hole that had about a 40 foot drop. There was a little bit of snow on the ground where i landed, but still it was enough of a fall to make me lose consciousness for about 25 minutes. I was taken to the local hospital and recovered there. .
My heads fine now. =)

I've had a few near death experiences considering I have bad asthma, but not as near bad as my friend. If you don't care, I'm going to tell you my friend's because it's more interesting.

When we were kids we were camping down by the Root River in Minnesota during the summer. One day we went canoeing. We went down this pretty big rapids, and we've done it before. Well, this time we tipped over, and we tipped over in one of those really deep spots/ whorl pools. Well I'm a pretty good swimmer, and my friend isn't that well of a swimmer. So I got up on a shallow part, and I thought my friend was right next to me, but she wasn't. I look over at where we tipped over, and all I could see was her arms out of the water, with her head under.

I swam over, and pulled her out. Luckily she wasn't under long enough to have to perform CPR.
My friend said when she could finally get a breath that she thought she was dead.

That was maybe one of the most scariest moments in my life, and I guess that my friend was lucky enough to have me there. I guess it wasn't her time to go.

My grandmother told me that I feel off the board near the window when I was 2 and my forhead hit the corner of the window where you pull it down. I was unconscience for a day and had a knot on my forehead. Supposedly, my mother was watching me that day...

There are other incidents and they are a little more personal

My husband did during an angiogram. He said he felt his face go tingly like when they put you under, and he went out. The next thing he knew he woke up feeling like his entire body was hit by a Mac truck, and the cardiologist standing over him, he had just been defibrillated.
No bright lights, no dead relatives........
But thank God he is okay!!

I'm in the Military so i've had a few. I've been in a plane when the engine went out, been shot at and mortered in Afghanistan. One time back home there was some guy that stabbed a state trooper to death and ran away and they found him hideing in my back yard.

I had one when I was 22 and was hit head on by a car. It most mortifying. All I remember was being in the Hospital and a calmness came over me and I felt peace. I loved everybody an everything. I appreciated life much more ever since.

My Mother-in law had one. She remembered going through a tunnel of light. When as she got to the end she felt being swished back into her body. ( Her words not mine.) She felt disappointed to return to her body. She wanted to stay, she felt at peace. But there is another plan for her being here.

When on my Great uncle's yacht, off the cost of the Philippines, we were raided by two pirates. However they had more of a near death experience though, robbing a yacht with eight mobsters on it.
