Well, in the sense that you're bombarded every day with what society, or at least the media, thinks is pretty or ugly, I'd say sure. In order to get at the beauty or ugliness that matters in the long run, though, you have to take a look inside your soul, and you can't do that with a mirror.

it all depends on your self-esteam, if you think you are ugly - you are since that is what you will project to others.
but if you think you are pretty then you are because you will take better care of yourself, take time to do something with your hair, makeup, and how you dress. plus others will see it because you will project it outward with selfconfidence, as well as how you act.
but then again, you could choose a better word than "pretty" - like beautiful / attractive / sexy /
because some people can be beautiful and that is that. but, ugly people can fix themselves up and be "pretty", yet in other ways they are very ugly.
you know how it goes...
you can dress up a pig in a pretty dress, shoes, makeup, jewelry, and fix their hair - but when you get right down to it - you still have a pig.
so be beautiful, not just "pretty".
;)

yes! because your the one who criticizes yourself, based on what others say or on what the media tells you. But the most important thing is to try and look at yourself without all those nonsense, and you will see what makes you pretty and you will start building your life around that.
If you look at celebrities, one is known for their big lips, one is known for their squishy eyes.. .. my point here is if you want to look pretty, you have to act it out, but not be arrogant about it, personality and looks come together.
I see every individual pretty in their own way, but when i see the persoanlity coming out i see the true colors.

Yes. Like mentioned before, its what u think. As long as you don't have some serious facial disfigure, you're not ugly. That's straight up. Another thing that would help is to keep in mind that everything on your face is where its supposed to be. We are ALL beautifully and wonderfully made, in more ways than one.

Interesting question. But ultimately- it shouldn't really matter. As long as you Accept what you see in that reflection, you'll achieve whatever you desire. Just believe in yourself.

no, because your inner feelings will judge you. If you are feeling up beat and happy you are going to jusge youself as pretty. If you are feeling low or so so you will judge yourself as ugly.

I believe that everyone has something attractive about them. It's just a matter of them noticing it in themselves.
