I have never degraded myself for money that I can recall. Many would say that I degraded myself when I worked at a discount retailer for minimum wage while I was between jobs eventhough I have an MBA. It really made me appreciate how lucky I am and how hard some people have to work to earn a pittance. It's a reality check when you look at two weeks' wages and they roughly equal what you would normally make in one day.

The air quality was so horrible that after my shift, my throat closed up and I couldn't talk.
