I am looking to purchase a small but powerful and precise new system. I have considered Bose but dislike their most recent system for its plastic exterior and lack of buttons. I recently discovered Tivolis and like their look much more, but know next to nothing about them. I am looking for a system that gets very good radio reception and can be connected to my MP3 player. Can anyone tell me more about Tivolis? Especially someone who has personally owned a Tivoli system....

Hopefully, someone else will answer, but in case they don't...

I only have the Tivoli table-top radio. It's a hundred dollar dream machine. The sound is incredible. I would only assume that the stereo systems are excellent. Henry Kloss was the "K" in KLH and he is an excellent engineer.

Another excellent company to look into is Cambridge Sound Works. We were shopping for a Bose and chose the Cambridge over the Bose - for less than half the money.

Although, we just bought our son the Bose Sound Dock for his iPod, as his sister has it and the sound is simply amazing. If your MP3 is compatible, I'd check it out.
