Ethics is hard.... whose ethics, which ethics? Ethics gets into origins of ethics (myriad of religions, cultural practices etc.).

I like live and let live, cooperation, tolerance and eventually understanding. Not formal education, but an informal meeting of minds to get to know each other with our defences down.
And yes, ultimately it is impossible to solve all differences to mutual satisfaction. But better to suck up a less than perfect solution then continue to fuss n' fight.

Education, Love, Understanding all at the same time... If you dont have all three of these components in a relationship it will more then likely fail or turn out badly. You must listen with love and understand what is being said with love and respond with love. Because people do not always do this we have anomolys in our system and thats understandable but what isnt so cool is when someone does this all the time because they have been lead down a dark path. The people who are walking the light path must make an effort to help the ones whos minds are clouded in the most loving way possible to understand whats really going on and how much love is here.

A critical approach, like the brilliant scholar Sir karl Popper.

And its quite easy; for instance, that old, old, perrenial-politics.

i believe neither in the Left or the Right-they are as bad as each

other,as almost everyone knows. But what to do?

Ever since reading what the greeks did, like choose local

politicians by lottery; well, could this be the next step for

our present day politics. After all, our present mass

politics is held to be the best democracy that WE can have.

But is it? Little population control, mass poverty and continual

worldwide local and intercontinent Strife?

Seems to me that a government chozen randomly would do

no worse that this lot- this lot being "our" present day Leftists,

Rightists, even Religion-ists!

And our computors could be put to good use, in quickly

and randomly choosing the next governing group.

The advantages? the above, such as wiping out this stupid

left versus right nonsense; also freeing-up our colleges for

more important subjects and work; also it should promote

compromise rather that conflict. For mass politics has probably

solved its problems. We dont need mass politics/democracy

to solve our important problems- they can be solved better by

the more open method, such as the one outlined above.

I take the power of one approach and the six degrees of separation theory.
I are 1 and have the power to stand up and make a small difference that small difference affects six people near me. Of that six they to may do something or tell someone they know of what I have done then they will do something. And so on & so on..

It takes one person to start a movement once other see they will follow others will hear and want to join.

Try it and see.

I strongly believe that we are spoiling it all by granting more and more individual freedom... it is already weakening the institutions of family and society. Peace for all is not fully compatible with complete individual freedom. A proper balance between individual freedom and collective welfare is essential to ensure that the world can be a better place for all its people. And indeed, this is what ethics are all about.

When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world. I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation. When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.

Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world
