well we just need a drummer now! so how would i find someone?
any tricks or just somethin i missed?

I'm in the EXACT same situation. I'm not sure what your needs are, but if you're looking for nearly anyone:
*Use your area's craigslist under "Music and musicians".
*Post bulletins with your contact information and the like on them, with the eligibility statistics for your desired drummer. Put these up at your schools, laundromats, grocery stores, music stores, mortuaries (maybe you're that kind of band?)... wherever works.
*Play some gigs with an electric drum loop or set of loops for a while. If that works out enough to get you gigging, a drummer will find YOU.
The advice others have given you is sage as well.

Place an ad for a drummer. Try to find someone who can play your type of music.

i am in a band, so i know how hard it can be to find someone. we are having trouble finding someone to play the bass. i say, call all ur frends, and ask them if they no anyone ho plays the bass, or u could put up flyers if u r in school, or u could put them in ppl's mailboxes, in ur neighborhood & in some of ur friends' neighborhoods. if that doesn't work, im not really sure what will.

Try people out for it or you could post flyers up if ur really desperate get another one of your friends to take drumming lesons.
