I got the part of Annie, I'm guessing she's the main character, but I have some questions:
A) Who is Annie?
B) Is that a good part?
C) Does she have a lot of lines?
D) Were any of you ever in the play Annie? If so, who were you?

A) Who is Annie? Annie is an 11 year old orphan who gets adopted into a rich family.
B) Is that a good part? Yes, annie is the main part of the play.
C) Does she have a lot of lines? She's the main part, with the most lines, of course she has alot of lines.
D) Were any of you ever in the play Annie? If so, who were you? I was in the play annie for grade 6 concert but i was only in the chorus (the background singers and dancers) and i was an orphan at the orphanage.

Annie is a great play, you will love it.

If you want more info on annie, how about you hire the movie from the video shop?

how in the world did you get the part of annie if you don't even know who she is? she's an orphan who's ultimately adopted by a single wealthy man after being somewhat abused at the orphanage. I'm assuming it's a good part to have if you like the limelight, and yes, she's got a lot of lines. I was never in the play, but go rent the movie! Learn about your part!

Annie is a good role for someone who's about nine years old. She's the main character, and has a lot of lines; if it's the musical version, then she also sings a LOT, and the actress had REALLY better be able to belt out the sound. I was never in it, but I have seen it. It's a good part, but unless you're really short and small - like 4 feet tall - forget it.

If you are 8-11 Annie might be a role for you. There are a number of lines and songs. Other parts include the orphans who also sing and have lines, but not as many. I played Oliver Warbucks once and shaved my head for the role.

I was one of the sidekick orphans.

Don't ask this question. Look at the script. Analyze her for yourself. making the part original is a sign of true talent. And try not to fall into the "Annie Syndrome" of singing. (Ask your musical director about it) It will just ruin your voice in the long run.

But have fun with it. It's a great show.
