Also, is it me or is Roy Williams overrated. The guy can only make big hits, he can't cover worth ****. Fire parcells, go back to the 4-3 defence and you might want to sign a safty in the offseason to help cover in the secondary. Oh and yea, it wouldn't hurt to sign some offensive lineman to cover pass protect and run block. Over than that, nothing to watch until April comes, that's when the Mavs playoffs begins....... Happy ******* new year.... :)

The 3-4 defense is typically a little softer against the run, especially short run plays, as opposed to a 4-3. The Cowboys are ranked 10th overall in run defense this season. That's pretty good considering that thier defense is not one of the faster groups in the league.
Dallas took full advantage of the extra linebackers in formation this season as well. They are one of the top teams as far as defense allowing 20+ yard runs. They are using the 3-4 to its fullest in my opinion.
Though I am usually more favorable of a multiple D setup, I think Dallas has done well with the 3-4.

What an idiot. If your a Cowboy fan, then shut the hell up. Yeah they've got some things to work on...but what team doesn't. I'm just as disappointed as you at how the season turned out. But you can't say they suck.
But you are right about the Mavs playoffs. They're gonna get, what should have been thiers last year... Go Mavs!!!

You were in the playoffs. do You realize how many teams weren't? and, the first thing You do is, start putting down the coaches and, players, who got You there to begin with. no wonder the BOYS have such low self esteem.
