I recently upgraded my parent's computer to XP and found the correct driver for their modem when XP didn't recognize it. I'm connecting to the Internet just fine, but always at 24.0 kbps (despite adjusting settings to allow for more). My laptop connects on its own modem with same house-phone outlet at 51.0 kbps, so it shouldn't be their ISP. I'm stuck on this one, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Here are the specs of the modem: Intel® 536EP V.92 modem - I'm running XP Home and using driver version 4.77.8.0. Since upgrading, the connection speed is always exactly 24.0 kbps - It has connected higher prior to the upgrade to XP. Thanks.
