Bread is great, too. I used to play ultimate on a high school field that was right across from a huge bakery.
I read once that there is no stronger trigger of memories than your sense of smell.

I like standing outside of apartment buildings where the laundry vents are... I absolutely love the smell of fresh laundry (hate folding it though)

i enjoy when the honeysuckle behind my house starts blooming in the springtime. it smells soooo good, and sometimes can be smelled through my open kitchen window :)
