Chew on This - by the authors of Fast Food Nation
It is a fun and fast read that really opens your eyes about the fast food industry. The book goes over the history of the beginning of some major fast food chains, how they have changed over the years, and how they affect the world that we live in today. Did you know that Pepsi and Coke are a huge funder of refrigerators to stores in Africa because people lack clean drinking water there, and the companies want to get people hooked on soda!?! Sickening. It is a good read. I recommend it.
