does baking soad and salt really clean a coffee grinder?

i just took my old coffee grinder out of storage-will grinding baking soad and salt really clean it or is there a better way?

Lemon juice and salt will do a better job at overall cleaning. And if you want to sharpen the blades, grind up a little rice.
