What do you think about today's Saturday Morning TV Shows? Do you miss the grand days of Fox Kids and Disney's One Saturday Morning?

Saturday Morning is a complete joke. On ABC they just play the same old shows that Disney plays everyday and the other networks aren't much better. I can remember a time when ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox were packed with animated programming. Now there is hardly anything. I think Nickelodeon and Disney Channel are a major factor in the current state of Saturday Morning TV. Saturday Morning was supposed to be all about cartoons, but that is no longer. The good old days are nothing but a memory.

You are bringing back memories. Yes, I miss Fox Kids. I watched and enjoyed nearly all of the shows. The 1990's produced arguably the best TV shows ever. The 1990's was the best time to be a kid. The shows that are on Saturday mornings right now suck. During the 1990's, they couldn't get any better. You can also make the same case for TGIF as well. Again, I enjoyed nearly all of the shows on TGIF. Disney's One Saturday Morning was okay. I liked Recess and The Weekenders. NBC's TNBC was good too. However, it should be known that Fox Kids was picked as the #1 kids network. As far as kid shows in the 1990's and by today's kids shows, Fox Kids couldn't be beat. Fox sold the Family Channel to ABC in 2001, and Fox Kids was gone by 2002. I just wish I could go back to those times that I could watch TGIF every Friday night, watch Fox Kids, WWF Superstars, and American Gladiators every Saturday. R.I.P. Fox Kids (1990-2002).

YES!! i remember what i used to do before katrina on saturday mornings. I would wake up and HOPE! that i catch One Saturday Morning because we didnt have cable and they would show shows from Disney channel on ABC. Then i would go outside and find something to do! i miss old times.

Those were the days. I used to like Pee Wee's Playhouse. I was surprised to see that it is now on adult swim.
