I used to work for a chiropractor, and you being pregnant I think that that would be a great idea for you to go see one! They can't be to aggressive in popping your back, but they can help you stay aligned. If you have insurance you will only have to pay a copay of around 10-35 dollars. It depends on your insurance though. If you do not have insurance, the first exam is about $70, and they won't take x-rays becuase your pregnant, so your looking at $70-$100 for your first visit. At my office, they charged $40 dollars every visit after that for patients without insurance. It depends on each office though. When you call to make an appointment , tell them your situation and they will take care of you! Good luck with everything!

Most Chiropractors are covered by insurance these days, and they have more expertise than your boyfriend, who definitely shouldn't be "cracking" your back. The chiropractor should have a kind of table that has a section they can drop down to accommodate your belly. Mention this when making the appointment to make sure they take care of pregnant moms.
I was adjusted during my pregnancy. Loved it, and it helped my pinched nerves.

I used to live with three chiropractors and they always used to adjust pregnant women and infants. It will help a lot!! Not sure about the cost, every office is different. Make sure that when you make the appointment that you tell them that you/re pregnant. Some offices don't have the right tables to adjust pregnant women. Good Luck hope this helps and your back feels better!

Call around and find out. I REGULARLY go to the chiropractor- and I don't have insurance that covers it- and he charges 40 dollars a visit. (when i have babies he goes to the hospital to adjust them!) You will just need to let them know you are pregnant when you go in for your adjustment. Trust me you will feel 23423432 times better. Also a little known fact- if a baby is breech and the mother has an adjustment to align her spine and pelvis correctly- 89% of the time the baby will turn on its own =)

At my 37 week apt my Dr surely instructed me to bypass to the chiropractor if i wanted, I didnt even ask him approximately it. He did say in spite of the undeniable fact that which you're able to examine with the Chiropractor and spot if that Dr feels gentle working with pregnant women, i assume some Chiropractors wont do it. i could examine along with your OBGYN nonetheless, because of the fact this would merely be the opinion of mine.

It is definitely a good idea to be adjusted before having your baby. Having your body in alignment can ease the birth process. I wish I could have gotten adjusted during my pregnancies. Unfortunately, we're cheap, and I only get to go to the chiro if someone runs their car into me :p

It's also a good idea to be adjusted after birth, and if you can get a chiropractor who will work with infants, it is beneficial to them too. They really go through a lot to get through the birth canal.

I would call around to several chiropractors and tell them you are looking for someone who has training in adjusting pregnant women.

Just ask the doc to adjust you. Without insurance though it will probably cost you $80 a visit. And its fine to see one just as long as they don't do any scans or xrays on you. You will feel so much better!!! Good luck hun!
