Perhaps , Most are unexplained yet.

Very probably not.

Think about it: if aliens were trying to communicate with us, why wouldn't they just pick a wheat field and spell out HEY HOW YA'LL DOIN' WE'RE FROM OUT OF TOWN. Instead, the conspiracy theorists hold that the messages are urgent yet cryptic warnings, or whatever, and we must decipher them. If it's so bloody urgent, why not use plain English?

Besides, many human perpetrators have taken credit for the creation of a substantial number of circles, and it's not hard to imagine that the rest are made by still-secret copycats. In fact, given the attention crop circles get and the ease with which they can be created, it's hard to imagine that copycats WOULDN'T be out there making fake circles like mad.

Those in favor of the alien theory point to "bizarre phenomenon" in the circles, or the fact that there aren't any footprints leading too or away from them...BS. People see what they want to see in crop circles, just like ghost hunters and any other kind of paranormal investigator. If you don't want to see footprints leading to a crop circle, you'll ignore them, or at least you won't look very hard. If you want to see evidence of an otherworldly technology, you will, whether it's there or not. People are just like that.

No.

In 1991, more than a decade after the phenomenon began, two men from Southampton, England announced that the phenomenon of crop circles was an idea thought up one evening in a pub near Winchester, Hampshire in 1978. World War II veteran Doug Bower and his friend Dave Chorley revealed that they made their crop circles using planks, rope, hats and wire as their only tools. Bower and Chorley stated to reporters that a small group of people can stomp down a sizable area of crop in a single night using simple tools.

The pair became slightly frustrated that their work had not received as much publicity as they had hoped. In 1981 they created a crop circle in Matterley Bowl, a natural amphitheatre just outside Winchester, Hampshire - an area surrounded by roads from which a clear view of the field is available to drivers passing by.

Bower's wife had become increasingly suspicious of him due to noticing high levels of mileage in their car. Eventually, fearing that his wife suspected him of adultery, Bower confessed to her and subsequently informed a British national newspaper.

Bower revealed on TV the method he used. With a four-foot-long plank attached to a rope, circles of eight feet in diameter could be easily created. He stated that a 40-foot circle could be created by two men in a quarter of an hour. The designs were at first simple circles. When newspapers claimed that the circles could easily be explained by natural phenomena, Bower and Chorley chose more complex patterns. A simple wire with a loop, hanging down from a cap - the loop positioned over one eye - could be used to focus on a landmark to aid in the creation of straight lines. Later designs of crop circles became increasingly complex.

Dave Chorley died in 1996, and Doug Bower has made the occasional crop circle as recently as 2004. Bower has said that, had it not been for his wife's suspicions, he would have taken the secret to his deathbed, never revealing that it was a hoax.

steven answered your question...some are man-made and the rest...well they are unexplained..you would need professional, math nerds or something to make those crops..without breaking leaving a foot step behind or messing up...soo half could be made by aliens and the other are possible that they are made by humans our self...another reason could be the Military (US Military) [if you live in another country i dont know but in USA the US military has some hand in alien stuff also] they experiment on us lol ....they use this one bomber that is about 17 feet tall and very thin and can fly at high alitiutdes..whats with the Military i dont know they want our reactions to it..they fly that bomber at night because people cant notice it at night much cause its dark..but if they do fly it at day its gonna be more easy to see..people could just bring out telescopes immediately and check and if they get caught people of the US would be really pissed because there experimenting on us ...though we do know its the US military sometimes thats experimenting on us...we cant really sue em cause we need proof and plus if we do (im not even sure if we can sue the military lol) the government is basically gonna support them more than us

Of course. If you do some investigation, you will see that humans can't make crop circles with our technology.

most are man-made, i dont know about all though, they take long boards with a rope to hold on2, to not leave footprints and to bend the stalks without breaking, i seen one made on tv once, the ppl making them are also very good at math and map everything out 2 make it perfect

The people who make them have shown on television how they do it. They're all man (or woman) made! No need to resort to fantastic explanations when the ordinary one does just fine.

NEWSFLASH NEWSFLASH I even have blown the conspiracy - they are lazer beams sent from the individuals on the satellites who do this by using their breather/espresso breaks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... ........ don't get ME incorrect - yet i'm extreme.
