......none of the answers have a thumbs up or down?
Dose it make you think that asker isn't reading answers?

yes, and maybe no one else is reading the answers, either.

i like being able to put thumbs up or down. if it is a stupid answer, i feel like i am voting them off of the island, it makes me feel like i have some small sort of power to erase their answer from my life.

Actually, I always thought it was other readers who were giving the thumbs up or down......but I hope the asker does go back and read the answers since they bothered to ask a question in the first place.

I like to read all answers and give thumbs even I'm giving an answers. I know I lose points doing this as I could answer more questions while doing it. But if I see 1 I like or don't like I'll give them a thumb, some times it help me when I ask as to my pick. Besides don't like to see what people tough of your answers, I do. So yes I hate it but each to there own.*

I've learned that it's only the asker who cares what a person's answer is. Twice now, however, I have received best answer because I received the most thumbs down! Those are my favorites. It's those pesky violations that I hate.

I used to go back and check EVERY SINGLE question I answered, just to see if I had any thumbs up or thumbs down. Now I really don't care.

Actually, I can't seem to give a thumbs down (or a thumbs up, for that matter). Yahoo tells me it's "saving" but it never happens. Guess it's like anything else - you get what you pay for.

I've noticed some people who asks Q's give thumbs up to everyone who answers, I think that's cool.

No, I never really thought of it that way. I don't usually give thumbs up/down to my answerers (?) even tho I do read their answers.

IT DOES NOT BOTHER ME IF I GET A THUMBS UP OR THUMBS DOWN, THE ASKER IS READING THEM, OTHER PEOPLE GETS TO RATE, AND THATS WHAT THATS THERE FOR.

No. I find it refreshing because it really smarts to receive a thumbs down for a quality answer.
