I believe that the presidential libraries, they belong to the government, not the president by the way, should be paid for with taxes but I believe that they should be modest, covering the presidential term and a little bit of personal information. I believe this because this is American history and right now most of the moneys are coming from overseas interests.

I believe there are things we must do as a nation-one of which is honor those who have served as President with some type of memorial. I do not know why a library has become the "thing", but since it has, so be it. The expense is such a miniscule part of our entire budget, it isn't worth haggling over. So we'd build 5 or 6 in your entire lifetime-no big deal, and we get a library out of hte deal.

I do not support the idea of each president having an expensive library built at our expense. I don't know how many of them get visited each year, but it seems like kind of a waste of money.
