can you change port com2 to com1?if so,how.?

i submit electronically. new computer uses com2. old computer [files transferred to new] is set up to use com 1.

the number basically specifies that you have a com port located at 1 & a 2nd com port. so you have 2 it total.
unless you mean physically:
if they are attached to the motherboard u cant. If they are PCi cards then swap them round.
