Kick the sh*it out of her and let her know who's boss.

Anyone who acts that way has a secret suspicion that they are actually WORSE than everyone else. Your 'friend' has some self-image problems, and the only way she can see herself as acceptable is because of her gf's money. Telling her something truthful is not going to help this situation. If you really wanted to help her then you could [if you are willing to devote some time to this] spend time over a period of weeks building her up, helping her to see the positive things about herself. Is she funny, smart, good at math, etc. Find other things to complement her on, and maybe this will help.

P.S. This can happen in the adult world, too...

At my school there is a girl just like that! She thinks she is cool just because she has about 50 cell phones and a new purse every week! I think you should not talk to her for awhile and avoid her then when she askes what is wrong just tell her. I did this with one of my other friends and it worked and she even sent out an apology email.

Tell her that we are all equal in the end.

If she continues to be snooty and snobbish, ignore her and hopefully she'll get the message! Whatever you do, don't copy her behavior to get her to see what she' like, cuz that's just going down to her level.

good luck
