Does anyone know when the third book in the trilogy of Eragan is coming out?

I just finished the second book, Eldest, and i really want to know when the third volume is coming out. So i was hoping someone would know.

Nobody knows. A release date hasn't been anounced.

Originally planned for release in the Fall of 2006, the third book of the Eragon series, allegedly named "Empire" is probably going to be released in the summer of 2007.
