ROMO NOMO

2007-01-06 15:33:43 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 1

I don't think so - I think he got put into a position that he didn't deserve, with expecations put on him that he had no chance in hell of meeting. He's had ball handling problems in most of his games, but people were too blinded by the "Second Coming of Troy Aikmen" to realize it.

One thing I hadn't realized, though, until doing some reading this evening, is that he was the ball holder for kicks for all of 2005... which makes his screw-up much much much less forgivable than I was originally feeling.

I'm surprised that Madden & Company didn't mention that Romo almost made the first down on the botched hold!

This has nothing to do with experience! Romo ruined it. That play was reminicent of last year, Vanderjagt ruined it for Indy. Now Romo ruined it for us. So, like Indy did Vanderjagt, we'll cut him & he'll go to indy & they'll realise he's a looser and he'll have no job and that girl friend of his, underwood? will have to take care of his looser ***

I wouldn't go to loser, but he just single handedly blew his team's chance at getting into the playoffs.

So for the moment he definately sucks.

he'll be the starting quarterback for the cowboys next year.

but his job as holder might be in jeopardy.

well, for a rookie he did alright, but he just needed to hang onto the ball and we would have won...or atleast not fumbled... oh well, we are out. maybe next year
