The Aussies may be onto something too.Security is on the rise here.Australia has introduced tough new immigration measures and they had too.9/11 should have been a wake up call to everyone but America seems to be so vulnerable.I think the Brits are just being but remember this the British and others are not hampered as much by the idea of complete freedom of information.
It is not a good idea to let everyone know that you may know something.

Perhaps they know what's going on or what might be going on in their own country. Don't know that it is any of the U.S.A.'s business. Still as long as they (the Brits) are paying attention to intelligence that pertains to their country that is the key.

Really cannot compare us with the Brits. They are probably responding to threats that their intellegence has alerted them to while we have to focus on the threats our intellegence leads. A threat to the UK might be different than what the threat to us is. Such as I see a lot of threats here to our sporting events, but I haven't heard of such a threat to our friends over the pond.
