Im trying to download songs onto my ipod from CD's but for some weird reason it says that theres not enough room on my playlist or my library and I can't update the songs onto my ipod.PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My ipod hasn't reached maximum capacity when I add the new songs to the library it says I have around 400 something songs on it when my ipod can hold up to 500 song!! So why wont it download onto my ipod.

When I add the new songs it says I have 442 songs but it still wont update. Then when I make a new playlist the songs still wont go onto my ipod!!!

well, i'd say clear out your unwanted songs that are already in the library, cuz, believe it or not, computers cannot just fit an unlimited amount of music on themselves. and music actually takes up a pretty large amount of space.

Perhaps you have reached the space limit of your ipod. Try deleting some old songs that you don't really listen to and make more space. Or you can try creating a new playlist. This has never happened to my ipod before though, but it's still worth a try.

You probably are at capacity. I know they advertise it as being able to hold 500 songs, but really it's a little bit less than that, because the software on your iPod takes up about a 1/2 GB.

That probably just means you've filled your iPod to capacity. Try deleting some of the songs you already have on the iPod, then try to transfer the songs from the CD's.

As you know, you can only put your music on your iPod through itunes so make sure ur using that. Also, you can't just drag and drop the CD to the iPod itself. You have to import your CD. It take a little time but after that it should be smooth sailing from there.
