this is kinda strange i listen to metal and clasic rock and dont really care of much other stuff, today while at work a person that works with me had the radio on this channel with church music and other church related talk shows and stuff and they kept saying jesus over and over again and after a few mins i started feeling very suffocated and un-easy it was strange i didnt wanna be rude but it really weird. can there be any reason for this

Religious music (of a certain evangelical type) is often hypnotic and chant-like in structure; it is designed to influence your mind, just like an advertisement. Saying Jesus over and over again is like a product-placement slogan.
It sounds like you might have been subliminally influenced by the music, making you feel uneasy. Your mind wasn't interested, and yet it did have an effect on you.

Hmm well maybe it felt like the person was pushing religion on to you, even though they were just listening to it for themself. Which made you uncomfortable and panic a bit which can make you feel suffocated? Because people with panic attacks often hypervenilate.
If it really bothers you ask the person if they can wear headphones because the noise bothers you. Or ask your boss to make those who listen to the radio wear headphones.

I don't know if bad music can suffocate you, but when I hear country music or Jesus beats, I feel like putting a plastic bag over my head and waiting for the inevitable.

you mustn't bypass to church or have self assurance in Jesus. You were uncomfortable and in no way suffocating. what's suffocating you is the rock track and the nasty lyrics. a lifeless ringer for a number of the rap today.this is all stupid with degrading lyrics and also you do not understand a thanks to experience round human beings of religion.

It is only a matter of choice , I really don't like metal
so it also makes me uncomfortable . I also agree with you I don't want anything that I don't ask for shoved down my throat either .
