I need to write some prose, poems and plays, but I don't have the inspiration to do now right now, I am having a writer's block. Please give me some interesting and creative themes/titles/essay questions so that I can brainstorm and write successfully, (e.g. Write a story that ends with the phrase "and there were none", Write a poem with the title "The human nature"). Thank you!

Dear 'liquid_...'. To make it clear, I am doing my homework. I am writing my own poems, my own prose, my own plays. Unlike so many of the other lazy people here, I do not simply ask for links to websites to copy homework. Is it wrong to ask for inspiration? It is wrong to try to get a spark to induce creativity? I am not asking for answers, I am asking for questions. Before you condemn me, do think of the fact that I am NOT copying, not asking for answers, not asking others to do my work for me.

There is only one way to overcome writers block and that is to sit down and write. The rule of writing most handy to me, is "Write! Write no matter how good or bad it might be. You can always return to your work and make changes."

To you question: "and there was none."
1.) A football theme perhaps. A kick return or a punt return returned for a touch down as the clock expires. "John Doe looked back for flags, and there were none."

2.) A plane crash survivor story. "I searched for survivors, and there was none."

"The Human Nature." (Sorry, poetry is not my thing)

How do we measure what we are as one?
How do we compare all the things we have done?
Commonality is the word we use.
Working together is a way we choose.

Hope some of this helps. Good luck and keep at it.

Quite honestly, you can find tons of inspiration in the family and relationships section of Yahoo. Many of the entries read like a soap opera, but they'd certainly be a great basis for a story, prose, poems or plays.
