Arkansas----terrible, I had an all elect. 20 years ago, 1700sf tri level, one Feb. (cold month) $500, that's with 18" attic insulation, we had a elect fire in the outside breaker panel because the main feeds were alum. no heat for two days. I Put in a Wood Stove and my bill went to $190. Never Again all elect. Natural Gas is getting almost as bad.

That's not bad for ELECTRIC heat. Gas, supposedly cheaper, has cost in excess of $200/month--in Arizona!!! That was for a one-bedroom, one-bath. Fortunately, our electric is way down in winter--but summer at 117 degrees can get waaaaay up there.

it rather is approximately $30-35 in line with month in iciness yet we in general burn wood for warmth. we've approximately 21 nighttimes in iciness so the lights furniture are on plenty. summer time is all sunlight hours and heat so fairly much no electric powered.
