In the movie pure country, it's about the middle of the movie they go to a saloon and there on the dance floor dancing to a song it goes something like this gonna right a great country wrong it sounds like travis tritt but i can't find it on any of his albums so he may not sing it and it is not on the pure country soundtrack either. so it may not be a song. please help if possible.....

Actually, it's by the Cactus Brothers...I just popped in the Pure Country DVD and checked the end credits. You can download it off Kazaa. The actual title is "I'm Gonna Right A Great Country Wrong". The Cactus Brothers also had 2 other songs in the movie, Crazy Heart, and Cactus Line Dance. The Cactus Brothers were also the only other artists other than George Strait to sing for the movie. Cactus Line Dance was the one that Harley was dancing to when Dusty was (drunkenly) flirting with her at the bar, and I'm not sure where the other one is. (Kind of weird for me...I've seen that movie so many times that I almost have the lines memorized.)
As far as the first answer, John Bettis co-wrote the song "Heartland" for the movie. As far as the second, the link they provided doesn't list the artists for the other songs, so I'm thinking that that chapter in the movie contains both the songs Crazy Heart and I'm Gonna Right A Great Country Wrong...will let you know where for sure in a few minutes...
Yup. Was right. Crazy Heart is the song playing when Harley goes into the bathroom (where Dusty's manager asks if Harley likes dancing with her husband). And when Harley clocks Dusty in the jaw.
