Help with finding auditions for acting in New Orleans, LA?

I am trying to find out if there are any auditions for movies or something coming up in New Orleans and looking for tips to improve my acting skills and how to persue my dream!!!. I am an aspiring actress and i am great at being an actress!!! Do you know what I should do. One more thing is how do I contact Universities to see if there are any upcoming things there. And what do you do in productions at a University. Do they accept High School students.......

If you can, can you please tell me if you know of any auditions or any good websites that i can go on to find auditions down her!!!!

Ask your acting teachers if there are auditons in New Orleans. He or she is the best source of acting information New Orleans. You contact the universities by calling director assistance for the telephone number of the universities.

When you get the number call and ask to speak to someone in the the Theatre Department, ask that person if they know how you can locate auditions in New Orleans.

If you want to act, join the theatre department at your school.

Never look on websites for auditions, they are scams! Legitimate auditions are NEVER found online.

Call the Office of the Mayor in New Orleans, ask if they have a list of upcoming movies being filmed in New Orleans.
