first tie your hair into a ponytail then wrap it around the center to make like a spiral thing and then put it in the little hair net thing and use clips to make it stay

or just tie in ponytail and the last time u pull your hair in the rubber band only pull it half way through

Hair usually grows at the rate of 1 or 1 and half inch per month. I don't really know what you mean by medium short. Once you are able to make a tiny ponytail, you can attach a fake bun to it if you need it for a peformance, and you can use hair gel to keep the other strands in place. Once your own hair is long enough that it can be wrapped around the base of the ponytail you can do a real bun. You should use a hair net to keep the bun neat. You can do a french twist once your ponytail is about 3-4 inches long. What you do is you pull the elastic off away from your head, and then you tuck in the hair into the shape of the twist. Then you pin it up.

my hair is shoulder length, and i can do a bun just fine.

put it in a pony tail, and from there there are a few ways to do it. i find the most secure is if i split the hair into 2 sections, then i twist u one section and twist around in one direction, securing it with bobby pins as i go. then i take the other piece and to the same, but the other direction. for extra security i use a bun net (hair net) and then secure with a few more bobby pins and hair spray. it looks really pretty, and it stays in really well, and only takes a few minutes to do. i hope that helps!

Tip: Once hair is in bun use bun net to keep it intact.
