You do not need 20/20 vision to enlist in the Air Force. Some specialities have thier own vision requirements, ie: pilots, air crew members, combat controlers, para rescue. You would need to look at the physical requirements for the specific field you wanted to enter. A good source is the link posted.

You don't have to have 20/20 vision to get into the air force. You have to have 20/20 uncorrected vision to be a pilot. Also to fly you have to be an officer, but just to get into the air force in general, no.

Why you gotta be that way. I wasn't a pilot. Why does everyone think that just because someone is on the Air Force you fly a frickin plane? I was on the ground making the radios work for the people that told the pilots where to go.
