Because we are deceiving ourselves and being deceived. It is not neccessarily a 'need'. It is lack of making sacrifices for the better good.

Because we lack love... true love. Because we lack humilty, we lack common sense, we lack morals, knowledge, courage, self control, accurate knowledge and the wisdom to use it...but above all we lack the abilty to listen to the one that will take all these things away and assit us ...
