Romo couldn't field a clean snap and then fumbles the ball and now the Cowboys season is over.

Well, you know what they say, it ain't over til it's over and all John Madden keeps saying is that he can get back in.

That was an unbelieveable play. It's one of those situations where if it would have worked, he is a genius. Now that it failed, he's an idiot.

Personally, I don't know why Romo was the holder. I don't know if he's the usual holder but if he isn't, he's a complete fool for being there. Stick with what will insure that you get yourself ahead.

Dallas is still in it though. It ain't over til it's over.

EDIT:
It's over.
(Anyone else hear "Bittersweet Symphony" playing in the field? Now that hurts.)

He's had issues with his ball handling for most of his games, and Parcells even commented on it a couple of weeks ago - why is anyone surprised? He's not the Second Coming of Troy Aikmen, no matter what people want to think (half a season and he gets elected to the Pro Bowl? COME ON, people...).

He's a kid who needs more experience. He almost screwed up that last Hail Mary play, too.

I feel bad for him - he got put onto a pedestal that he didn't deserve, and the fall is going to hurt him for some time to come.

I do not, however, feel bad for the Cowboys. They were a mediocre team that got lucky at the end of the season, and didn't deserve to be in the post season.

Yeah, Seahawks win! I feel terrible for Romo though - if his receivers caught more balls and didn't fumble, we wouldn't be talking about Romo ruining it for the Cowboys.

I'm surprised that Madden & Company didn't mention that Romo almost made the first down on the botched snap!

A few weeks ago, here in Dallas they were saying he is the next Troy Aikman.
