For example, I just read this story which talked about how writers pitch their stories to Studio execs who turn them down. Yet one and a half years later, a movie comes out with a very similar premise to the one that the writer was turned down for the year before. At the same time, these same studio execs make a big stink about downloading and how they are "losing money" when themselves have stolen ideas from writers and don't credit them??

It's all about money. And making lots of it. Ever see the price on Southern California property? I've never seen a stolen movie and I've been on the web since before there was a web so I'm personally a little leary of their claims. But, hey, what do I know? I'm not living in a $32M mansion on the beach in Malibu, eh? :-)
