I read some of your responses to other questions and I am wondering why are you even asking this question? You have 3 kids already, unless you lied about that. You should know WHEN you get pregnant by now, unless you really don't pay attention to your body.

Oy!!

oh, and btw are you cheating on your husband of a year? bc you posted a question a month ago about what should you do about a "boy" that you like. OMFG!! sorry to be so harsh, but GROW UP. Wait, im not sorry.

Of course it doesn't have to be only when you have your period as a matter of fact it is nothing like it, is the other way around because the easiest time for a woman to get pregnant is at the time of ovulation. I would think it'll be better to have intercourse every 2-3 days; that way you're sure to hit your ovulation. Some say that sperm can live for up to 5 days in a fertile environment (although that fertile environment is not the uterus -- the sperm only goes so far as the fallopian tubes, where, hopefully, it hooks up with the egg...it's the embryo that then travels to the uterus where it, hopefully, implants and settles in for the long. Your partner should not masturbate during your cycle and you should not have sex daily; every other day is better for his sperm count. Stop stressing about it too, the more you do the harder it will be to conceive just have fun and enjoy while you're at it. Good luck and let us know when it happens.

It always saddens me to see questions like this because one would think an adult would know these things.
Assuming a regular 28-day cycle, woman's most fertile time is 8-16 days after the first day of her period. Ovulation occurs around day 14, some women feel it like a small cramp or pinch on one side of the abdomen that goes away after an hour or so. You can buy ovulation predictor kits at the pharmacy that will help you tell when you're ovulating, but they're expensive. Good luck.

I dont care what people say every women is diffrent! I got pregnant with my son on my period! Took me 3 years to get pregnant agian Got pregnant on my period. Every womens cycle is diffrent. I would recomend an ovulation test. It will tell you the best times to try. If you dont want the pressure of having to have sex when the test says i would say have sex every 3 days. You can get pregnant up to 3 days after intercouse. So you should be covered. It took me 3 years just keep trying and be patient. And dont over stress about.

It needs to be a day when you are NOT on your period. Having your period means the egg is too old to be fertilized, that's why your body gets rid of it. 3 to 4 days before and after your period are the best times to try.

Yes it can be a normal day. This is advice I got and It seemed to work right away. Have sex on the 9th and 11th day after your period starts. Counting day one on the first day of your period.

Having sex during your period is not when you get pregnant! You have to have sex when you are ovulating, which is about 1/2 way between periods. Look up any pregnancy/parenting web site for all the details. I like iVillage and WebMD.

well I have 4 kids and have never went down the bloody drive..... conception usually happens around 14 days after your cycle begins. See a doctor now if your trying to have a baby you should start taking prenatal vitamins right away, not when you actually get pregnant

First of all, you definitely need to be prepared financially and emotionally for a child. No, I don't believe you get pregnant on your period. Menstruation is a process which disposes of uneeded matter (you know) after the released egg is not fertilized.
