When I had a problem with trojan horse viruses, I was told by a support tech at my isp to download the ewido from freegrisoft.com. It did take care of the viruses but couldn't get rid of the back door bot that had been put in by a hacker that gave them access to keep putting more viruses into my computer. The ewido is apparently specific for trojan horse viruses.

If you have a trojan horse you can download any number of free versions of software. I like AVG (http://grisoft.com/doc/trial/lng/us/tpl/tpl01). You can use any antivirus program that you like. The most important thing to know when removing the trojan horse is that a trojan horse is a program that is running. Start your computer in safe mode (press F8 repeatedly when your computer starts up. Then choose Safe Mode With Networking and use the antivirus program. It will catch and eliminate the virus that you won't be able to get rid of otherwise. To answer your actual question you can also visit http://housecall.trendmicro.com. Just be sure to start in safe mode. That's the key to success. Good luck.

If you are using Windows xp, then you are in luck. Use the Windows Live One Care free safety scanner to remove all unwanted malicious software from your system for free!!
Use the link provided below. Click on either protection scan or full service scan(this i recommend). You have to accept the EULA. Then the scanner will download a few components on to your system and then start scanning. After that, it will give you a detailed report of all the malicious software on your system and then click on "Ok" or "continue" to remove all the infections.
