Never been there, but these folks clasify the hotels by star ratings. I think all pricing is on request, but that's not unusual in Africa outside of South Africa.

Sure there are plenty of options. Nairobi is a cosmopolitan city with hotels for every budget.. if ur looking for 5 star hotel i'd go for the Serena Hotel, or The Norfolk, both downtown. There's the Holiday Inn 15 min away in Westlands which is a pretty happening area - lots of restaurants. If your looking for luxurious apartments i hear the Palacina is intimate and beautiful... We stayed at the Fairview Hotel. It was really nice, but it wasn't in a good location for getting out and seeing the city easily. We were only there for a day between other travels, and it was a great place to relax by the pool for an afternoon and rest up!
