I was at the mall and saw 2 chairs like barber chairs, one women was leaning back, I went closer, they were doing eyebrows with string, never saw it or heard about it, she said come on I can fix it doesnt hurt,,,blah blah blah. she didnt speak good English. I saw out of the corner of my eye, the other women paying. I jumped up and said "You have to pay" she said it cost $10. I had no money on me... I said I will come back tomorrow. I know I will cause thats the way I am... but how many of you would pay her? She tricked me. I thought it was a demonstration like the curling iron or massage gadgets.

First of all you are not obligated to go back to her. It would be more honest if they had a sign describing what service they were offering and the cost or if they actually told you before they started. For the consumer it is easy to make a mistake like that. At the malls here we are constantly being approached by people that can not speak English trying to get us to come over to their kiosks, try their samples of food or show us their services as you have described. We simply say no thank you and keep going. If you honestly want to have that service performed for you, go back or even look up a regular salon in your local yellow pages. I personally hesitate to have anything like that done by someone set up in a place where they are just catching people as they walk by. Those kind of businesses can disappear in the blink of an eye if something goes wrong.

After she asked you about trying it I think before you sat down you should of asked her is it a sample or is it going to cost i see that kinda bothered you but it's ok if you do go back tomorrow you can explain it to her

it would depend on how well she cleans up your brows.....you know if you coulda done the same thing or better then just throw her a $5 but if she does a good job then $7-10

don't go back. she was being tricky. i had a similar thing happen at a nail salon... they pretended they didn't understand what i was asking for-- but when you do acrylic nails all day long, you should be able to understand when someone is asking for them.

yes, stick to your word, but since she tricked you, i probably wouldnt pay her, now if you said you wasnt going to pay her, than whatever, but since you said you would, than i guess you have to.
