You are kidding...right?

Ok...I would be against it.
Why?
Because we will be forced to speak one language(most likely).
Will have the same ID cards.
Will be injected with the V-Chip.(I believe this is the mark of the beast)
Will use the same currency(haven't they started that already...or tried???)
No longer have the right to vote.(NO need to because there won't be any elections)
Will loose all rights for that matter.

That's just a start......

It would have to depend on who was running it and what their true agendas are. There are people who belong to the so called elite, who have been trying to form a one world government, for a long time, and they are very dangerous people. They have no concern what so ever, for the common people, they only want to further their own agendas and control the whole world. This kind of one world government I have to say I am opposed to. But, if we could have a one world government that is TRULY run BY THE PEOPLE***FOR THE PEOPLE!!! With honest concern about the needs of EVERY person!!!*** This would be a wonderful thing, and would make this a truly wonderful world. Unfortunately, I don't think our society as a whole, is evolved enough to be able to pull it off.

This is actually a very good question, and I read in the Conversations with God series by Neale Donald Walsch, a wonderful example of how this could work, and what it could be like, and the world described, is the kind of world I would live in....with no hesitation...if I could! I could not even dream of anything more wonderful!!**

Well, that is a very excellent question. Ultimately, I think I would be against a one world government because each country should be able to govern themselves how they see fit. Each country is different, so the way things were governed would be different. It would be hard to monitor the activities of the world from one single government. Even though it would be one government, it would have to be divided into several small governments to be able to monitor everything. It would defeat the purpose of having a one world government.
On the other hand, maybe it would help create a union between the countries in the world. But, still, how could we become a one world government? I just don't think it would work. Thanks for such a though provoking question.

Against cause think of it, we all don't get along as it is now so what would change?? Only the fact that one world government would be socialistic and they would take from the nations that have, like America, and give to the ones who don't.

You would not have a say so how or where your much higher taxes would go. Would you want Annan, with his hands dirty in the food for oil in Iraq, or some other third world country leader spending your tax dollars?

If one world governments worked, then the most tolerant government in world history, the Persian Empire, would still exist today. Persians trusted new citizens, from various different cultures, into Persian political positions. Those new citizens used their political positions to push power for their own raza, oops! I mean people. This brought down the empire through their cultural divisions.

Against. We wouldn't be able to design the government the way the United States is already designed. The middle east can't stand us. The U.N. already is against us every step of the way for any issue that comes up.

Vehemently against a one world order. It is totally against our precious Constitution and Bill of Rights! It would mean that we would be under control of the rich and powerful few who want to possess and rule the world without a shot of protest or resistance against them. And they are NOT democratic or benevolent rulers.
"Eternal vigilance is the price of Liberty."
Those who would go along with a one world order would be traitors and not worthy of being American citizens.

Against. There are just so many different cultures, beliefs, and ideals out there. None of us can get along now as it is... if we were all under the same gov't? We would be looking at a massive civil war!

Absolutely against. People of different regions are too varied morally, religiously, ethically etc. A one world government would NEVER work it would end in massive destruction everywhere.
