IMing; becuase you can't share with your colleagues.

They are both bad. IM'ing can be bad if you're doing it at work during the time you should be working or if you are doing it to send proprietary info pertaining to your company (and this can happen in seemingly casual conversation or IM'ing without a person fully being aware). Drugs because when you are using you are not at your optimum and your work performance as well common sense judgment will suffer whether you think it or not. Both could get you fired and then it's... "oh well, that's all folks", cause sorry ain't gonna get your job back.

Doing drugs anywhere is immensely worse. IMs at work are disrespectful and inefficient - it is also a misuse of company resources - but not criminal.
