My friend Johnny Tsunami has recently returned from being kidnapped and we are having a disagreement. I say that the NBA had the 1 and 1 rule for free throw shooting in the 90s and he says they have not had it in some time. The 1 and 1 rule is when if the free throw shooter makes their first shot they are given another shot. Who is correct?

a free throw is to decide who is going to have the ball first and the free throw is also like u said but until three or four then if u make all them u get the ball.
