I have been divorced from my ex for about a year now , we split up because i found out he was bi sexual. I caught him on the internet chatting with men exchanging numbers and setting up meeting places. he said that he has been like this every since he was 10. We was married for 5 years an i had no clue about him! my question is why would he marry me an put me thru thisif he knew? why didnt i suspect it , did he chose me for a reason?

He probably married you because in his own way he loved you and because he was selfish and confused. He did not think about how you would feel if you found out what he was doing. It is very sad that he would have such disregard for your feelings.
Of course you had no clue about what he was doing! Why would you be suspicious of your husband, you thought you were in a committed and loving relationship and you trusted him. Unforutnately this expereience is only going to make it more difficult for you to trust someone again. Eventually you will meet someone wonderful, who you can truly trust, but in the meantime take some time to be one your own and work your way through this before you jump into another relationship.
He did not choose you for a reason, there is nothing wrong with you. Don't let his issues become your issues, after all you are divorced now and can go on with your life he is someone elses problem now.

Bi-sexual people aren't always exactly well received in this society. Unfortunately, "Men on the down-low" cheating with others be it men or women or all of the above unfairly chose that their spouses be emotionally hurt and exposed to HIV and STDs. Some have stated they marry to kept their sexual orientation secret, others don't want to face the scrutiny from family, friends, peers, employers... I know it was difficult trying to figure out how to compete with a woman-ego, pride, and self-worth shot to crap. Why he chose you only he can answer. Try to remember that you are not responsible for his actions and inability to be truthful to himself or to you.

Bi sexual means he is attracted to men and women... not gay. He did cheat though... same sex or not it is cheating. Would you feel better if it was other women? He was looking for sex and at the time he wanted it from men. He did chose you, because he loved you.... but people change and marriages break up all the time for many reasons.

blinded by love, and slapped in the face with thr truth that you just did not want to see/know. Get some counseling, deal with it, pack the issue away in your emotional baggage suitcase and toss it out the window.

he tried to live a lie an live with pushing all his desire's aside. if this is not something you can accept in your life an marriage , then it is time to get a divorce. because he will never change. he wanted to an tried to live the straight life but that is pushing his true self aside.

You have to keep in mind that being bisexual means that you love men AND women. Maybe it was an attraction he felt strongly about before, but suddenly decided to experiment a little bit...
