no, a person can only be what they are. i don't try to judge people( unfortunately i do sometimes) (sorry its a human flaw) and when somebody turns out to be different then i expected them to be then i deal with that when it happens. people have things going on in their lives that you don't know anything about---say you met a person today and you thought they were very rude ( maybe that person's child is ill or someone they loved just died.) If you had met that person in other circumstances you might be the best of friends. We all handle stress in our lives differently.

I think that I'm a good judge of character, but I would never assume that I could know someone fully. Everyone has thoughts, ideas and feelings that we don't share to the world.
So, no never carved in stone. People are too complex. : )

PS: WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAS 16 SHE HAD A CRUSH ON THIS GUY WHO APPEARANCE ALONE ... LOOKED LIKE A BUM, MY HUSBAND TOLD ME NEVER ALLOW HIM IN OUR HOME HE LOOKS LIKE A BUM. WELL I DID ALLOW HIM ALONG WITH OTHERS OF MY DAUGHTERS FRIEND WHO ON SATURDAY THEY WOULD COME OVER AND HAVE BBQ AND JUST SIT AND TALK TO THEM OR LISTEN.

THEY HAD TONS OF WORRIES AS I HAD WHEN I WAS THEIR AGE.

THE KID, HE BECAME ONE OF THE INTELLIGENT PERSON ON THE GRADUATION, I LOOKED AT MY HUSBAND AND TOLD HIM, NEVER DEAR JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER. HE WON A SCHOLARSHIP AND WENT TO NYU AND AFTER THAT HE WAS ACCEPTED TO GO TO HARVARD AND HE IS NOW A DOCTOR.
