Do you think that it will be easy for you to keep it a secret from your extended family and friends for 2 years of being alone? I think the plan is great- have your wedding, JoP with your families there, and then have a big wedding in a couple of years. If you can decide on whether it will be catholic or protestant, just pick one and ask the pastor/priest if he will do a renewal of vows - that is what it will be - you'll already be married. I would suggest that instead, you just do a reception. Have a big party celebrating your reunion! Then you can skip the church part. I would just suggest that you tell everyone of your plans and of your JoP wedding. It will not be an easy secret to keep. Congrats! Good Luck in whatever you decide to do!

Adam--I really hope that you are an A-1 construction worker, as you will never get into an office job when you can't spell New York or Canada correctly. There's no problem with being a poor speller--but there becomes one when you aren't willing to spell-check.
P.S. Even in construction, if you want to move up the ladder you need to know how to communicate effectively. *I guess, though, that if you are an accountant, numbers are more important than letters.*
Good luck ;)

Create a professional and educated resume. Learn to spell and speak like an adult. Present yourself as if you know what you want and know what you can do for their company when you go for a "job" interview.

New York.
Canada.
If you are going to move there learn to spell its name properly.
Are you sure you have a degree from a legit institution? Larry's Diplomas and Stuff doesn't count.
