Can I get pregnant on the first day of my period? Is that possible?

You can but the possibility is slim. Being on your period means that the egg is too old to be fertilized so it's time for it to leave your body. But it is possible to drop more than one egg at a time (fraternal twins) and if you do, then you can get pregnant on your period, but like I said that's rare. If fraternal twins run in your family then it's more likely.
