I usually buy less pricey things, but I've been to places like Sephora before. I'd tell you to just shop at Sephora, but honestly, I've gotten stuff there that I absolutely hated. Like some lipstick that wore like lipgloss and smeared around my lips really bad, and some eyeshadow that barely showed up.

Benifit (get their stuff at Sephora) is really good. I love their Bad Gal Lash mascara.

My favorite brand of cosmetics is L'Oreal. It's pretty good stuff and the price is nice as well. Max Factor is good when you're trying to find a mix between price and quality, too.

Here's a list of my favorites for specific things:

Foundation: Benefit Non-Fiction liquid foundation or L'Oreal True Match liquid foundation

Eyeshadow: L'Oreal

Eyeliner: Don't have one. I wear a ton of eyeliner, yet I still don't have one I prefer over others

Mascara: Benefit Bad Gal Lash is the best. When I can't afford Bad Gal I get L'Oreal Volume Shocking. Some of my friends use Mary Kay and it looks pretty nice.

Concealer (for dark circles, not pimples): Max Factor

Lip stick/Lip paint: Max Factor or Revlon

Lip gloss: L'Oreal HIP (High Intensity Pigments)

...Actually they say that models and stars don't really buy expensive make up. I don't know if it's true or not, but I get complements on my makeup all the time.
