Yes, I do like the name "Promise" for a girl. It is the kind of name that lets everyone know that her parents felt hope for the future. And we all need hope for the future.

No. I hate names like Promise, Hope, and Joy and such for kids. Give it to her as a middle name if you're absolutely set on it.

No, please don't call your daughter ""Promise" for I feel that in later years
she will be taunted with phrases like""You promise me"" You break your promise""""You promise me baby and it sure ain't maybe""""A promise is a promise"". And the list goes on and on.
