A friend of mine just got out of the hospital. Earlier today, she was helping a friend move out of her parent's house. The mother found out she was moving in with 'a couple of witches' and pushed my pregnant friend into a wall. She went into labor, and was rushed to the hospital. Luckily, they stoped it. She is only 7 months along. They want to press charges, but the officers said that they didnt have a case.
Any ideas on what she can do, or what I can do to help?

I think you've asked this question alot. I am Christian so am therefore religious. I think anyone that stupid shouldn't call themself Christian. Same goes for any extremes in religion or non religion. Officers saying they didn't have a case? That doesn't make much sense. There would be plenty of evidence if she reported it. Religion has nothing to do with this. Stupidity however has everything to do with it.

She should go ahead with Pressing Charages and get a restraining order atleast until the child is born. At that time if there is anything wrong with the child, then this will have all made sense.

Religion shouldn't play into this. If she is Christian then she actted poorly and is going to have to learn that tolerence is part of being a "good Christian". There are many things these days that are grouped into the "Witches" and "Witchcraft" category by many people. Their roommates may be of a faith that believes in one God but also believes Humans should be in some way responcible for tending to the enviornment including plants and animals.

That is bull she has every right to press charges. They caused her to go into early labor. And they assaulted her. Try talking to a lawyer he or she would no the best thing to do.

She doesn't have a case, my ****. That is assault. She needs to contact other cops that are interested in helping people, NOT eating donuts and pizza.

Plain and simple, that's an assault charge, and if your friend wants to get really nasty, she can file for attempted murder on her unborn fetus, too.

She could press charges of assault. But it may not do any good.
