Why are there so many whiners on here might be a better question. Look it's a mean world out there, anybody that tells you differently is lying to you. Plus some questions deserve mean but honest answers. particularly in this section. The truth is always going to hurt someone.

Yes, that's true. I guess they think they're being smart or funny, but I certainly don't see it that way. On the other hand, some of the questions are also stupid. You can tell that they're contrived or totally made up just for shock appeal. It's a shame that people abuse this site, but an even greater shame is that YA allows it by no pre-screening like other sites do.

Simply put
Yahoo Answers is nothing more than a micro culturual reflection of the world we live in---and in that-- there are all kinds of people in here......You have people who are brilliant--and ones that are as dumb as dirt---you have ones that are, at heart, the absolute best in the world and ---those that aren't !!!
You take the good with the bad and move on !!!

LOL, just kidding. Yeah, I agree. It's lame how someone asks a serious question, then someone else answers by just saying "I don't know." Aside from two points, how is that even slightly beneficial? And why would they answer the question if they didn't know?

The mean people are those who have no self-confidence and are dying for attention. Don't let them get to you. There are a lot of genuinely caring and nice persons here as well :)

Its been my experience that this anonymous forum allows people to vent their true selves, all their frustrations, et al without retribution other than words on a screen that only give them amusement. Personally, I find it more challenging to seek out others of good faith without succumbing to the daily degenerates. Thank you for your thoughts.

Bullies feel power by being mean and hateful just like raping someone makes a rapist feel powerful. The problem with that way of thinking is that the mean ones are the true cowards, and most people know it. "They" just don't know it.

i am not gonna lie. i was once one of those people when i first came onto this site. but as time went by i have learn to be less ignorant and more respectful. i guess i was trying to get a laugh by submitting answers that were irrelevent to those questions. i am sorry for my pass mistakes.

They are probably loners, who want attention from people...and so they try to use something controversial so people will give them more attention.
